Research activities include discourse analyses of conversational repair, topic manipulation behaviours, and other linguistic and sociolinguistic features of individuals with various forms of dementia such as Alzheimer's disease and frontotemporal lobe dementia, and adults with cognitive impairment in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and adults with Alzheimer's disease and Down syndrome.
